Symbols of ruling planets of the astrological signs are hidden within inklings' jewels, tattoos or costumes.

My INKLINGS colouring book is now available in two editions - Artist edition in my etsy shop (www.tanyabond.com)

and createspace edition on amazon - amazon.com *, amazon.co.uk , amazon.ca etc

Artist edition on etsy comes with heavy quality paper and coloured previews of all the images for inspiration, it is however double sided. The images in this edition are about 10% bigger than the one that's available on amazon. 

The edition that's available on Amazon is single sided.

The illustrations are exactly the same in both books.

I haven't written in my blog for quite some time, but I do have some great news!
For the past 6 months I have been working on a Duality Deck - my personal take on an Oracle deck that will have my images on the cards and the booklet of meanings. The main purpose of this Deck is to bring peace into your thoughts and feelings when it comes to areas of your life that you are currently not so happy about. It can also be used as a message for the day where the meanings of the cards could suggest what to focus on throughout the day.

I called it Duality to reflect the dual way of looking at our life and events in it. There is a straight forward logical way - where all we can see is linear events, who did what and why this and that happened; and yet there's another way of looking at things, the "not so straight forward way", where causes and effects as well as answers are found mostly within oneself. The meanings of the cards resonate with the second way, and whilst you are invited to bring to the table the upsets and issues of everyday life you are also presented with a suggestion to look at them differently through the meanings of the cards that you pick.

I am trying to raise funds for publishing this deck via kickstarter. And I'm also happy to give sample one card reading to anyone who is interested in it - just send me a message through my facebook page

Yuri the meerkat - WIP

If you think that bears walk in the streets of Moscow, you are very much in the wrong, at least not for the last couple of years - they don't. And I won't surprise you if I said that it's actually meerkats that are overpopulating Russia these days. Originally from South Africa, this small animal migrated to Russia and adopted well to the way of life and cold winters and what's more - scared away a...ll the bears... And they speak English quite well, as you would have expected of them. Russian meerkats fascination being a new fad I had to jump on the bandwagon and here I present you Yuri the meerkat. In the beginning he was meant to be a tractor driver for some remote Kolkhoz, but he looks too dressed up and a bit tipsy, so I'd say he is a party animal, probably plays accordion....

My recent commission - "Almost a lion" is a portrait of Majella's cat (from Truly gifted).

Since it was a commission I kept taking pictures of the process in case Majella would see something that she wanted changed. So here is WIP of her cat:

My collection of painted pigs is expanding! The newest addition - Triona the pig watering her flowers, I think she has a charming smile:) The original is in my Etsy shop, and I'm planning to order some postcards with her too. She's also on zazzle (what a busy little pig:))

My 3y.o. daughter loves painting and she adores pigs, so I couldn't help ordering a blank pages notebook with "Peter the pig" on the cover for all her endless doodles. Only a couple of days later and about 60 out of 80 pages are filled up with colourful puzzling images of emigmatic nature... - I love guessing what they depict, but if I can't guess - I ask... Unlike her other masterpieces on half chewed and yoghurt stained paper that end up in a bin, I think these paintings in a neat notebook are going to live a much longer life...

I must say I'm a "notebook-holic", whenever I see a new cute notebook my mind immediately tries to find what could I write in it... And as you can imagine I have plenty of them at home with only a couple of pages filled. And as a badly needed fix now I have my newest products - notebooks with my art on the cover! At the moment I just have "Banshee" and "Irish Pixie" notebooks with lined pages in my etsy shop. There's plenty more designs to come both with lined and blanc pages - which is great for drawing some new ideas and designs

Yorkie and hearts - ACEO

These are the pictures of the process of painting my recent commission "Yorkie and hearts". I always have an intention to "document" the process, but I get so absorbed in painting that I hardly ever think of my camera while at it. Since this was a commission I decided to take it easy and slowly and keep my customer updated on every stage of the painting in case she would see some small details that I wasn't able to pick up from the photograph.

Yorkie and hearts will soon be available on Etsy as postcards and a 5x7 print.
